Discovery & Wood Camp |

 Come and experience, explore and wonder at God’s creation, in the beautiful natural environment of the Calvin Center. Come and work with your hands and learn wood-working skills in our Camp Calvin Workshop. Learn from experienced wood workers and go home on Friday knowing you have been involved in protecting the Calvin Center environment and bring home wonderful pieces of woodwork made by YOU! Prepare to be amazed! And of course there will be all the usual activities of camp- swimming, Bible Study, and crafts etc. So much fun and learning packed into one short week!

Drama Camp (M.A.D.) |

 If you love to sing, dance, play an instrument, act, compose, write, or just be silly, M.A.D.D. camp is the perfect place for you! Throughout the week, you will learn how to use your creativity in new and different ways during daily sessions with our Creative Arts Specialist. You will have the chance to perform for the entire camp during morning vespers and evening worship. By the end of the week, you and your fellow campers will have the opportunity to show what you have learned and perform a dramatic presentation written, directed, and performed by you and your fellow campers! M.A.D.D. camp is a chance to work, play, learn, and grow together in your faith, while also enjoying all the other fun activities of camp.

Get ready for all day, Big Camp Fun! Daily activities include: swimming, games, crafts, Bible Study, lake toys, kinking, canoeing. Daily drop off is at 8:00 am; pickup is at 5:00 pm. With Pre and Post care available. On Thursday evening we invite you to sleep-over and be involved in the regular evening camp experience. A great ‘beginners’ experience of what camp has to offer. Lunch and afternoon snack is included. |

With over 500 acres, there’s a lot of ground to cover. Whether it’s riding horses every day, doing crafts, swimming, or exploring the joys of nature and worship, these campers are always on the go. Not only are they active, they also learn a lot. The trained friendly Calvin Center Horse Staff help campers learn safety around horses. How to care for and saddle their horse, and teach various games on horseback to enhance the fun-loving atmosphere. The campers will enjoy experiences riding on trails, in an arena, and, even some more advanced riding skills. Aside from daily rides, the horse campers will get to enjoy other camp activities as well, such as participating in worship, learning archery, building teamwork on the Team Challenge Course, pottery, and much, much more. |

Ever wanted to harness the wind and have it propel you forward. Sailing adventure does this and more. Whatever is your level of experience come and figure out how to get “that boat to go over there using the wind”? Great opportunity to see God’s creation in action and for you to join with others and sail everyday and graduate to a larger 30ft sail boat by the end of the week. While continuing to participate in all the great fun camp activities, see God alive and relevant in new and different ways.

Get ready for an adventure of a lifetime! Mission doesn’t have to be far away and exotic. Campers will join each other in ministering to those in need here in the backyard of Camp Calvin, as well as learning from each other about service and fellowship. Mission projects will include helping in a soup kitchen, home renovations for low-income families, and building projects around camp. Part of this camp experience is spending a night in Global Village. In addition to all this, campers will still participate in those great Calvin activities. |
